Founded in 2015 in Mexico City by Vancouver native Bridget Tidey, ZII ROPA emerged from years spent between urban life and the coastal desert of Baja California Sur. This duality continues to shape the brand — a balance between city and nature, structure and ease, refinement and utility.
ZII ROPA creates timeless silhouettes produced in small batches with intention and care. Most pieces are made locally in Mexico using high-quality natural fibers; knitwear is crafted with artisan partners in Peru, while many woven textiles are sourced from Japan for their durability, texture, and enduring beauty. Each material is chosen not only for how it looks, but for how it lives and ages with the wearer.
Rooted in slow production and thoughtful design, ZII draws from traditional techniques, everyday rituals, and the quiet elegance found in landscapes, travel, and lived experience. The collections favor longevity over novelty — clothing designed to function, to move, and to evolve alongside the person wearing it.
ZII ROPA ultimately reflects a way of dressing that values permanence, balance, and freedom — garments made to be worn often, lived in fully, and returned to season after season.
